Meet our new Director of Communications, Amanda! 🤍

With 10+ years of experience in FM radio and a passion for communication, storytelling, music, and people, Amanda brings so much heart and creativity to this role. She’s also been part of the True North worship team since the very beginning!

Amanda and her husband, Kody, have been doing life together for 12 years and are parents to Flip and Ophelia, plus their pit bull terrier, John Cena. 🐾

Joining the True North team is an answered prayer and a beautiful reminder of God’s timing. We’re so grateful to have you, Amanda! 🙏🏻🥰

A New Season for Communications!
We’re excited to share a special staff update with our True North family!

After serving faithfully as our Director of Communications, Ashley Blank is transitioning out of her role with September 17th as her last day with us, as she and Carl prepare to welcome their new baby. While we’re sad to see Ashley step away, we’re incredibly excited for this new season for their family and grateful for all she has poured into True North Church.

And we’re truly blessed to welcome Amanda Krautkremer into the role of Director of Communications!

Amanda has been part of the True North story from day one, serving faithfully on our Worship Team. She brings not only a deep love for TNC and its mission, but also a wealth of gifts, experience, and creativity that we’re excited to see used in this new role.

We’re grateful for Ashley, excited for Amanda, and expectant for all God has ahead in this next season.

Every Sunday, our Worship Team helps create space for us to lift our eyes, open our hearts, and turn our attention toward Jesus. 🎶🎤🎸🥁🎹

But what happens on stage is only part of the story. Behind every Sunday morning are volunteers who rehearse, prepare, learn songs, serve early, and show up ready to lead our church in worship.

We’re so grateful for every person who uses their gifts to help our church worship Jesus. 🙏🏻 Worship isn’t just what happens on stage, it’s something we do together.

Hospitality is about more than welcoming people through the doors, it’s about helping people find their place.

Our Hospitality Team serves in so many ways on a Sunday. At the Connect Spot, volunteers help people who are new-ish to True North find answers, learn about ways to get involved, or find a team where they can serve. And behind the scenes, our volunteer bakers prepare and deliver cookies to first-time guests as a simple way to say, “We’re glad you’re here.”

These may seem like small things, but each one creates an opportunity for someone to feel seen, welcomed, and connected. We’re so thankful for every Hospitality volunteer who helps make True North a place where people can belong, build relationships, and take their next step in following Jesus.
