Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church of Falls City, NE is a congregation of the Nebraska Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. We are a community that gathers to worship God and to hear the good news of God’s love for us and for the whole world that is revealed to us in Jesus Christ. We are also a community who believes that we are sent out by God’s Holy Spirit to love and serve our n

eighbors as Jesus loved and served all people. As Lutheran Christians, the life of our community is grounded in Scripture – the written word of God – and in the writings and teachings of Martin Luther, who believed and taught that at the heart of the Christian faith is God’s relentless grace (or undeserved love). We live our lives with trust that this grace has broken down the barriers that separate us from God and from one another and formed us into a community that is open to everyone. In worship and prayer, in study and fellowship, in everything we do, we strive to share the love of God that we have first received in Jesus. We invite you to join with us as we celebrate that love and learn to serve in Christ’s name. Our worship services are at 10:00am on Sundays [with Holy Communion on the first and third Sundays of the month].

Little Jesus Sighting!

Little Jesus was busy exploring all the ministry tables at the Synod Assembly in Kearney this past weekend learning more about the 13+ ministry organizations and groups at work through the Nebraska Synod.

He couldn't help stopping to take a picture with this rainbow, though! Little Jesus reminds us that life is better when we all add our own unique colors and positivity into the world! 🌈🤩

Have you noticed our beautiful new sign by the steps on the south side of the church installed last week?

The sign, made by Roderick Sign Company and installed by Rieschick Drilling Co., was purchased by Kathy Rieschick in memory of Roy Rieschick. Thank you! ❤️

Our next step will be to get some outdoor lighting installed to light the sign at night.

This past weekend was the annual Nebraska Synod Assembly in Kearney. Pastor Joanna, Elysia McGill, and Shelby & Eli K***r attended from St. Paul's.

It was a weekend full of worship, workshops, discussion, and stories of ministry taking place across the state. We were also blessed to have our national ELCA bishop, Yehiel Curry, at the assembly with us this year.

We will be sharing more stories from the Synod Assembly soon!
