"Proclaim Christ's Love To The World" About St. Patrick's Church
We are a multi-racial small Episcopal Church.

Parts of our service are in two languages, Vietnamese and English. We have an Open Table; that is, all are welcome to every part of our services. Service begins at 11:00 AM Sundays, and is generally over about 12noon. We generally have a coffee hour after service. When we do a pot luck, you will be amazed. Saint Patrick's was founded in 1953 as a mission church from the Falls Church. The congregat

ion met for the first time on January 3, 1954 in the cafeteria of the Graham Road School. The building was completed in 1956. Members of St. Pat's have been known for their involvement in outreach ministries since the very early days of the parish. In 1995, Saint Patrick's became an Anglo-Vietnamese church, a mission of the Diocese of Virginia, and has become more and more multicultural. In January of 2012, Saint Patrick's full parish status was restored and recognized at the 217th Annual Council meeting of the Diocese.

Today we had produce from the Bee Happy Garden on the altar. We prayed for the garden, the gardeners, and those who will receive the bountiful harvest.
Almighty and gracious Father, we give you thanks for the fruits of the earth in their season and for the labors of those who harvest them. Make us, we pray, faithful stewards of your great bounty, for the provision of our necessities and the relief of all who are in need, to the glory of your Name; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

Elijah found strength in the desert, fed by God and renewed for his journey (1 Kings 19:4-8). Jesus often withdrew to the wilderness to pray and draw near to the Father (Luke 5:16; Matthew 4:1-11). Embrace the desert; distractions fall away and the silence invites a deeper intimacy with the Divine. In solitude and simplicity may you be restored, tested, transformed…
