Join us on June 6th at 10PM as an incredible ensemble of musicians brings the authentic sounds of Greece to the halls of St. Katherine’s Greek Festival. 🎶

From the traditions of Thrace, Pontus, Macedonia and the Greek Islands to beloved Laika, the band will take us on a musical journey across Greece - capturing the spirit and excitement of a true “xorio panigyri” 🤩💃🏻🥁

Through the Mentorship Pillar of Byzantio Center for Greek Dance and Cultural Arts⁠, we were honored to support and uplift a growing network of communities in Baltimore, MD through education, collaboration, and shared tradition. Through this outreach and mentorship, we are strengthening communities and preserving our heritage!

Happy International Dance Day! 💃🏼What better ways to celebrate than this throwback montage of Byzantio?!

International Dance Day was founded in 1982 and takes place every 29 April, the birthday of Jean-Georges Noverre, who is considered to be the “father” of modern ballet. Dance is an art form and demonstration of cultural expression.
