A dinner was held in gratitude to all the local charities that participated in the giving machine at Tysons Corner this past holiday season. Some of these organizations being Homestretch, Children’s National, Capital Area Food Bank, FACETS, and Central Union Mission. A huge thank you to all of you that came to the giving machines and donated this past year. ♥️ The holiday season is a special time of charity, we invite all to remember year round our Savior Jesus Christ.

We are heart broken over the tragedy that came to pass at on September 29, in Michigan. Our love and prayers go out to the congregation, to the families of the ones who have passed and the family of the shooter. It has been heart warming to see church members come together and support Michigan. We are especially grateful to our brothers and sisters in Virginia, leaders of other faiths, and our local community in general, that have reached out at this time. The numbers have not been few, we thank you and have been strengthened by you. 🤍

The DC Temple Visitors’ Center is doing a showing of “Legacy” in the main auditorium at 2:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. this Thursday, July 24, and on Friday, July 25, at 5:00 p.m. for Pioneer Day. All are welcome!

Thank you to our stake activity leaders for a wonderful pickleball activity today at Lewinsville Park. Many came to play, others came to eat snacks, and a few others even came to coach. Congratulations to the winners!
