Join women around the globe for 24 hours of intercessory prayer on November 2 as part of the Baptist Women’s World Day of Prayer. Across countries, cultures, and time zones, we will unite our hearts to intercede for the needs of women and girls, our communities, and our world.

Choose a 15-minute time slot on November 2 and pray wherever you are – on your own, with a friend, or alongside women from your church. Day of Prayer resources are available to guide your prayer time. Together, let us cover every hour in prayer, trusting God to work in and through us!

We give thanks for the impact of European Baptist Women United - EBWU, one of our seven women's continental unions, and for the leadership of EBWU President Siham Daoud and her entire EBWU Team! It was an honor for BWA Women Executive Director J Merritt Johnston and BWA Women First Vice President Ruba Rihani Abbassi to gather in Prague with women from 26 countries for an impactful time of prayer, worship, fellowship, and learning together. The theme was "Unshakeable" from Psalm 112:6-7, "Surely the righteous will never be shaken; they will be remembered forever. They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord." May the Lord continue to bless the unshakeable faith of our sisters serving throughout the region, particularly those living in places impacted by war, violence, persecution, and poverty.

What a joy to worship, pray, and learn together at the "Transformed by Truth" Women's Conference hosted by the Moldovan Baptist Association of the United States and Canada! BWA Women Executive Director Merritt Johnston and Baptist Women of North America - BWNA President Patty Lane were blessed to serve alongside this incredible group of women and to see the Spirit move in powerful ways. Join us in giving thanks for these women of God and in prayer for God's continued blessings as they return home to serve in their homes, churches, and communities.

Leading up to the 2026 Baptist World Alliance Annual Gathering in Toronto, we enjoyed the opportunity to worship with Kingsway Baptist Church. It was a blessed time of worship, fellowship, and learning together as Valérie Duval-Poujol, BWA Ambassador for Standing Against Gender-Based Violence, shared a message centered on "Jesus and Women." A special thanks to the Kingsway family and Helena Bergen from CBWOQ for your hospitality!
