Wondering how to help your kiddo have the best possible day at preschool? 💛 Prep starts at home! Here are a few simple ways to set your little one up for a great day:
1. Start with a good breakfast. Transitions and big feelings can be harder when little tummies are hungry!
2. Pack a healthy lunch. Pro tip: Pre-slice fruit and open those tricky packages ahead of time. It makes lunchtime so much smoother and gives your child more independence!
3. Fill that water bottle! Preschoolers have BIG energy for play, so staying hydrated is important.
4. Pack a change of clothes. Mud, water, paint, snacks… lots of learning adventures can get messy!
5. Keep goodbyes short & confident. A quick hug, kiss, and “Have fun! I’ll see you after school!” can help make drop-off feel more predictable and secure.
6. Prioritize rest the night before. A well-rested preschooler is better prepared for all the playing, learning, and growing the day holds!
7. Let them help get ready. Have your child choose a lunch item, fill their backpack, or pick out their clothes. Small responsibilities build confidence and make the morning feel less rushed.
✨ A little preparation goes a long way in helping your child walk through the preschool doors feeling ready, confident, and cared for. We can’t wait to make some wonderful memories with your little ones! 💛
