Pumpkin Sensory Bowls and a book project on Leaf Man! 🍂🎃

Ms. Alyssa led the Seedling class’s outdoor time with a pumpkin sensory experience full of sights, smells, textures, and even tastes! The Bloom and Dandelion classes created their own Leaf Men using real fallen leaves.

As we explore the beauty of autumn, we’re reminded of the creativity of our Creator! From the changing leaves to the pumpkins growing in the fields, God fills His creation with so many wonderful things for us to discover. 🌿 “The earth is full of the goodness of the Lord.” — Psalm 33:5

Autumn is in full swing here at CTKP! 🧡

Our annual Pumpkins and Dads event was a 🎃 SMASH 🎃 Thank you to all the dads who came out to carve pumpkins with their preschoolers, and to all the volunteers who helped set up and brought us yummy treats! 🍩 We love building community and providing space for families to come together at our school 🧡

Fall brings so many seasonal crafts and activities! Last week in the Seedling class we made spiders out of pipe cleaners and cheerios. Then spent time talking about the colors of the leaves and the song "5 pumpkins". But all play is really learning! Studies show learning through play sticks in children's minds so much better than structured instructions. We love these skills and lessons from Ms. Tanya 🧡

We spent the cooler hours of the morning creating our Autumn Mud Kitchen recipes 🍂🍁🪾 (thank you to all who donated kitchen items for play!🥣🍴🫙🫗) and several fun activities in the Barn. Stay tuned to see more of what our kids have been learning 👀

Mr. L brought a fun pumpkin puppet to chapel to sing a fun seasonal song to the children 🎃 Music is more than fun—it’s a powerful way for children to learn and grow! Singing, dancing, and making music help build language, memory, coordination, confidence, and connection.

We just had our first B&B table last week!

Are you looking for an opportunity to connect with other preschool parents, share prayer requests, chat with one of our pastors, or just grab a coffee and a snack?

Brews & Blessings is our monthly chance to do exactly that! Once a month we set the table for parents to come together and have connection right here at morning drop off-- not adding anything to your schedule or creating extra stops on your busy mornings. It's right there on your way outside your child's classroom. Stop by and say hello, grab a muffin, or stay and chat. We'd love to see you there!

September 15th was National Dot Day! 🔵🟡 We celebrated all throughout the week with The Dot, dot art, painting, markers, stickers, dot pancake art and blueberry bagel art with sprinkles! ❤️
A sweet reminder that God created each of us uniquely and wonderfully—and we are all artists! 🎨 Thank you to our amazing CTK Family Volunteers for making the day so special!
