September is Hunger Action Month. 🍊

Launched by Feeding America in 2007, this month brings communities together to raise awareness and take real action against hunger. This year marks its 19th year, running September 1st through September 30th.

Throughout the month, we're highlighting the reality of food insecurity in our community and the everyday ways people can help.

📆 Mark your calendar for Hunger Action Day on September 29, our biggest day for nationwide advocacy and participation.

🔶 Orange is the official color of hunger relief. Wear it throughout September to show your support and help spark conversations about hunger in your own circles.

Here's how you can get involved this month:
Wear orange and share why on your own page!
Volunteer with a local food bank or pantry!
Donate funds or non-perishable food items!
Advocate for policies that support food security!
Follow along and share our posts to help spread the word!
Hunger is solvable, and it takes all of us.

Thank you so much, Troop #2076!!

These awesome girls helped us sort produce and food prep for our Monday distribution, and fundraised to fill backpacks to give to students who need back-to-school supplies!

It’s incredible to see how passionate our youth is about lending a hand, and serving a cause- all with a smile and well-timed giggle fit!

We’re so proud to help show the next generations the magic of giving, and the importance of helping others.

Kahoots Fallbrook is partnering with the Fallbrook Food Pantry for a month-long pet food donation drive! The Fallbrook Food Pantry already does wonderful work by providing groceries and support to families in our community, and now we’re hoping to help make sure their pets are taken care of too.

We’re collecting pet food donations to help local families who may need a little extra support keeping their furry family members fed. Every donation, big or small, can make a difference!

Did you know? 💡💵

Our food pantry runs entirely on local support: donors, grant funding, business owners, and volunteers, not tax dollars. Every dollar and every hour comes from people right here in our community who've decided this matters to them.

Over 600 volunteers give their time each year, sorting donations, packing boxes, and greeting neighbors at the door. Grants from local foundations help stretch every dollar further. And individual donors, giving what they can, when they can, keep our shelves stocked day to day. This isn't something happening to our community. It's something our community is building, together, one shift and one gift at a time.

If you want to be a part of the action, there are plenty of ways in!: Donate what you can, volunteer on a free day, or just help spread the word about how our family of Fallbrook neighbors actually works together!

Did you know accessing food assistance from Us is easier than you might think? Share this to help us plant seeds of support🌱

Whether you're facing a tough month or you know someone who is, here's how it works:

Visit us at 140 N. Brandon Rd, Fallbrook, Monday–Friday, 9:30am–12:30pm (we also reopen Fridays 4–6pm)

🪪 First visit: Just bring a photo ID - that's it. You'll fill out a simple registration form and can receive food for up to 3 visits right away.

📋 After that: Complete a quick registration interview (no appointment needed, first-come first-served) to get your Pantry Member Card for ongoing weekly access.

No red tape, no judgment, just neighbors helping neighbors. 💚

Working during our regular pantry hours? We’re here for you.

At the Fallbrook Food Pantry, we understand that many of the families we serve are working and accessing food assistance shouldn’t mean having to miss work.

That’s why we’re open every Friday from 4:00–6:00 PM to provide additional access for our working families and community members who can’t make it during our regular hours.
