Blessed and honored to be a part of the walk through at the wake for Boston Fire Fighter “BK” Robert Kilduff of Rescue 2 this afternoon with FRFD Chief Bacon representing our Fall River First Responders and FRPD. Nice to see a member of BK’s firehouse in Boston from Engine 42 (BFD Firefighter Preston) who came to Fall River last July for critical incident stress debriefs after the Gabriel House Fire. Blessed to return that respect today. May BFD Firefighter BK rest in peace eternal 🙏🏻❤️💙

Memorial Day 2026 in Fall River! Honoring those who gave their lives in service of our country - Nearly 1.3 million 🙏🏻🇺🇸. Where neighboring communities canceled their Memorial Day Events Fall River Did Not! Some rain didn’t stop those whom we honored today either. Blessed and honored to have offered 7 different prayers today from Holy Mass, the Parish Monument, on the USS Massachusetts with a 21 gun salute, at the Fall River Veterans Monument in Kennedy Park prior to the parade, enjoyed the parade and then the Invocation at the closing Memorial Day post parade ceremony in Government Center where Military Nurses were honored and we heard from the grand marshal of the parade- Army Nurse Capt. Mary Goff - a hero among us for her years of dedicated service to so many. Wonderful to see so many remembered what this day and weekend is really about!
