Our Parish Council wants to offer these wonderful Paschal (Easter) Lanterns for Holy Friday evening and for Pascha Services. The lanterns are LED tiki lights and placed in a bag. Your bag will have the name of your loved-one on (both Living and Reposed; Orthodox and non-Orthodox.) We are asking a $5 donation for each bag. Order numerous bags. We will line them on the front lawn and on our stair well leading up to Church. Additionally, when you purchase a Luminator Bag, the name you request on the bag will be read during the Lamentation Service on Holy and Great Friday.

Happy Great Lent, dear Christians! Before going out to snowplow, I had to make my (favorite) Lenten sandwhich: pita bread, peanut butter, mustard, and red onion.

We say in Greek , ‘Kali archi’ which means ‘good beginnings’. May God bless your struggles for the beginning of the Fast.
