"All are welcome at God's Table!"
Sundays at 9:30am

The Episcopal Church in the United States originated in colonial times with early settlers who brought their faith with them from England. They established worship in the New World after the pattern of the Church of England, a Protestant church with ancient Catholic liturgical traditions. When the American republic began, the Episcopal Church severed its ties with the mother church in England. But

it retained the liturgical traditions and beliefs of the English church and kept the same service book, the Book of Common Prayer.

Out of an abundance of care for our congregation, St. Luke’s Episcopal Church will again be closed this Sunday, 1st February, due to unsafe parking conditions and extreme weather.

The safety of our church family comes first. Even while apart, we remain connected in prayer and in God’s love.

Please stay warm and safe. We look forward to welcoming everyone back as soon as conditions improve.

🇺🇸 Labor Day Blessings
🗓 Monday, September 1, 2025

Today we give thanks for the gift of work — for all who labor with their hands, minds, and hearts. We pray for safe and fair working conditions, for dignity in every vocation, and for rest and renewal for all God’s people.

🙏 A Prayer for Labor Day
“Almighty God, you have so linked our lives with one another that all we do affects, for good or ill, all other lives. Guide us in the work we do, that we may do it in faith, with honest hearts, and for the common good; for the sake of Him who came among us as one who serves, your Son Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.” (BCP, p. 261)

May this day be one of gratitude, rest, and fellowship.
Happy Labor Day from all of us at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church!
