This week, the Agapé Catholic Ministries staff stepped away for a special time of prayer, reflection, and strategic planning.
We are filled with gratitude for the grace God poured into this retreat. Through meaningful conversations and renewed vision, we have gained clearer direction, strengthened relationships, and a deeper love for the Lord and His people.

Today is the feast day of St. Albert Chmielowski! He was a talented painter who realized God was calling him to a completely different canvas: serving the poor and homeless of Kraków. He left everything behind to become a brother, eventually founding the Albertine orders to bring Christ’s love directly to the streets.

His life is a beautiful reminder to love without holding back-starting right in our own homes and parishes.

We all know St. Anthony as the patron saint for finding lost things, but have you ever looked closely at how he is painted?

Tradition tells us that near the end of his life, a friend passed by his room and noticed a brilliant light shining under the door. When he peeped through the keyhole, he saw St. Anthony standing in prayer, holding and conversing with the Infant Jesus.

But look closely at this classic depiction: Jesus isn't just resting in his arms, He is holding a crucifix right up to St. Anthony's eyes.

It’s a powerful reminder for our families, youth, and marriages this weekend. True closeness with Christ means letting Him orient our vision. He invites us into His innocence, but He also reminds us that authentic love is sacrificial.

Today, let’s ask St. Anthony not just to help us find our lost keys, but to help us keep Christ, and His sacrificial love, at the absolute center of our homes.
