Our Story
Gathering Stones COMMUNITY Church like so many churches, includes the word: “Community” in our name. But, what we mean by “Community” is that we are Fully invested in our Community. We have always been a church in our community and for the world. We are invested in making our Community a better place for all of us to live and raise our families. This is why members of Gathering Stones started an exceptional public school of choice for our neighbors. A school which has brought many people into our community as families have moved from out of state and other school districts into Falcon for their children to be enrolled in this great public school! We are serious about improving the quality of life for our neighbors.
We are Not the Church “Out East” or an “East” Campus of anything... We Are Falcon! This is our home! This is our Mission Field!
As God’s vision for us and our community continues to unfold before our eyes, our Elder Board began praying and seeking the guidance of the Holy Spirit. We firmly believe that God is uniquely positioning us to serve our community for generations to come. We have partnered with Pastor Allen Jackson of World Outreach Church, we are reading through the entire Bible together, we are ministering to the needs of our community and making an eternal impact around the world through a variety of initiatives.
With the incredible demand for the school on Liberty Landing, we recognized that the church needed much more land to accommodate the scope of God’s Vision for us. As a result, we started seeking property in Falcon that would position us in a great location to serve our community today and place us in the Center of our community in the years ahead as growth demands of Colorado Springs continue to attract neighbors to our beautiful community!
