Today's Project Reclaim Conference Event featured artist is Kayla Seymour. Kayla has been signing for over 14 years. Her family started a ministry for the Deaf, Blended Fellowship, in 1999 and Kayla fell in love with this special ministry from the very beginning! She now works there full time as the Administrator Assistant. She has taught American Sign Language classes for two years. "Signing is a gift that comes naturally to her," says her father, Doug Seymour, Pastor of Blended Fellowship.
She also enjoys expressing her worship through signed songs and has made instructional DVD's for anyone interested in learning how to sign contemporary worship songs. This has been a great opportunity, for young people especially, to become motivated to share their love for the Lord in a very unique and beautiful way.
We are very excited that Kayla will be teaching sign language to children at our conference classes! During this class, students will receive an introduction to American Sign Language through games, music, and fun activities.
Sign up for classes on October 5th today and don't miss our ARTS Showcase on October 4th! Everything is happening at The Paramount Theatre, Goldsboro. Visit www.projectreclaimministries.com for registration information.
