Psalm 139:16 describes how God's eyes saw our unformed substance and recorded every day of our lives before we were born, highlighting His sovereign plan and detailed design of our existence.

Since God exists outside of time, His love for us isn't a response to our existence but the foundation of it. You were intentionally created and loved by a Creator who envisioned your life and written story long before you came into being.

Never forget how deeply loved, valued, and wanted you are by the One who holds the pen to your life.

Did you know that you are God’s masterpiece?

In Ephesians 2:10, the Bible says: "For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."The original Greek word used for "handiwork" or "masterpiece" is poiēma (ποίημα)—the very root word from which we get "poem" and "poetry".

You are not a random accident. You are a deeply intentional, beautiful work of art woven together by the Creator Himself for a specific purpose, "for such a time as this".

Look at how much detail the Divine Artist puts into loving you:
He knows everything about you: Luke 12:7 reminds us that even the very hairs on your head are all numbered.

He tracks your steps: There is nowhere you can run from His presence. As Psalm 139:7-8 says, if you go up to the heavens or make your bed in the depths, He is there. He knows your coming and your going.

He sees you perfectly: In a crowd of 10,000, He would not miss a single detail about you.

He claims you completely: Zechariah 2:8 calls you the apple of His eye. Through Christ, you have been chosen and adopted into His eternal family (Ephesians 1:5).

He will never let you go: Absolutely nothing can separate you from the love of God (Romans 8:39).

We live in a broken world where earthly fathers aren't always perfect. Some of us have experienced painful father wounds, while others were blessed with the absolute best human dads. Regardless of your earthly story, you have a perfect Father in Heaven who fiercely protects you, loves you unconditionally, and proudly calls you His own.You are His living poetry.

The Heavenly Father's Heart ❤️

You are not a biological accident; you are an intentional and cherished creation.

1. You are His "Poiema" (Masterpiece)
In Ephesians 2:10, the Bible says we are God’s "workmanship." The original Greek word is poiēma, from which we get the word poem or work of art. Just as an artist doesn’t accidentally spill paint and call it a masterpiece, God didn't just "let you happen." He was intentional with every stroke of your personality, your gifts, and your life. An earthly father may have provided the biological "canvas," but the Heavenly Father is the one who spent time designing the details of your soul.

2. He Treasured You Before You Were "Finished".
God’s love is not conditional. A Master Artist treasures the canvas from the very first brushstroke. God doesn't wait for you to be "perfect" to value you; He treasures you in the middle of the process.
Psalm 139:13-14 describes Him "knitting" you together in the womb. He was focused on you with delight and purpose before anyone else even knew you existed.

3. Purpose Over Function
You are made with a purpose, not just to "function." In this world, relationships can feel like you have to earn your place. With the Heavenly Father, your "place" is already secured on His wall because He loves what He created.

Reflection: If you painted a picture that you poured your heart into, would you ever call it "trash" or "a mistake"? Neither does He. You are His favorite work of art.

Find rest in God's goodness

To the teen busy balancing school, sports, and home life.

To the single woman wondering, "When will my helper arrive?"

To the mother overwhelmed with kids, chores, work, and being a wife.

To the working woman trying to keep up with deadlines at work and at home.

To the grandma who feels like she needs to carry everyone's burdens on her shoulders.

You can stand firm, not because you're strong or have it all figured out, but because you know the One who is and does.

'In quietness and trust is your strength.' Isaiah 30:15

Rest isn't a reward for completing your to-do list. It’s necessary for your soul to survive the list.

God doesn’t love the 'efficient' version of you more than the 'exhausted' version.

If you can’t find the strength to 'do' today, just try to 'BE.' He is the anchor that holds when everything else is drifting. ⚓️

Exodus 33:19: "And the Lord said, 'I will cause all my goodness to pass in front of you...'" (A reminder that His goodness goes before us in our busy work and home lives).

Psalm 27:13: "I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living."
