Thank you to those who showed up last week to help with Thanksgiving baskets for under resourced kids in the Pontiac-William Holliday school district. Your help was very much appreciated. Please see the letter below.

It's that time of year again! We are once again helping those in need in the Pontiac William Holliday school district. We will be assembling Thanksgiving Baskets this Saturday, November 22nd at 11am at the William Holliday Cafeteria. Please let us know if you can make it by commenting on this post. We need all hands on deck. We will supply pizza and soda for lunch afterwards.

Are you looking for a way to "love your neighbor" this holiday season? Join Gen X on Sunday, November 24th at 12:30 pm at William Holliday School Cafeteria to fill Thanksgiving Baskets for families of students in need. This event is something that, with teamwork, takes little time but makes a big impact on the families that receive the baskets! This is a perfect first time outreach event. So bring the kids and help us change some lives!

Quick question......in the past, for our summer pool party, we've done the Mascoutah Pool and we've also done Splash City. Which one did you like best? Or do you have any new suggestions for summer fun?

Thank you to all who came out tonight for Family Night at Fun Spot! I hope you all had a great time! Remember, the next Gen X event is May 11th at 5:00 p.m. at The Abbey in West Belleville. Roller skating starts in about an hour. Hope to see you there! $2 for admission and and skate rental! Bring the whole family to Fun Spot in Belleville from 5 to 7! We have the whole place to ourselves!
