We are excited to welcome the Rickords, a 4th year seminary family, as tenants in the Signal Hill parsonage starting in the middle of August. To help prepare for their move in, there will be a work day at the Signal Hill parsonage TOMORROW. Come if you’re able. We will start working about 8/8:30 a.m. Bethany Men's group, Orate et Laborate (Pray & Work) will be there, and all are welcome to come and help out.

Tasks include painting (over wallpaper, if possible; stripping wallpaper, if not possible), cleaning the kitchen, removing old carpet/pad/tack strips, washing windows, cleaning kitchen cabinets, maybe a new bath vanity, landscape work, and more. Bring tools to fit whatever skills you have toward those jobs.

Park at Signal Hill Lutheran Church (8100 W Main St, Belleville, IL 62223). The property is just next door to the west.

A reminder that there is no Wednesday night service on July 1. Our youth are at the Higher Things conference. This year the theme is "Dying Church, Rising Hope" and it's hosted on the Washington University Campus in St. Louis. (Making it the best commute for us in many years!) We've also enjoyed hanging out with our friends at Good Shepherd, Collinsville. And Pastor Hemmer has hosted a breakaway section. The chapel is very pretty and thankfully has air conditioning. It looks big, but it's at full capacity with over 750 Lutherans singing loudly!

Be sure to join us on Sunday for the fifth week in Trinity. Divine Service at 10:15am and Bible Study to follow.

This Saturday, June 20, we're having a bake sale and car wash youth group fundraiser. Stop by Bethany anytime between 10am and 2pm. Car wash is free will donation and baked goods start at $2 per item. Come support our youth and eat a cookie while we clean your car!
