Due to health issues, our Pastor at Davis Springs Southern Methodist Church, Bro. Olan McLaren, announced his retirement after almost 60 years of ministry, 49 of those spent at Davis Springs.

He is truly a servant of God and has touched uncountable lives with God's word in church services, weddings, funerals, Nursing Home ministries, hospitals and in every day life to those he has encountered.

His last sermon to our church family will be Sunday, April 26, 2026 at 11:00 am.

Let's pack the pews and show him our love and appreciation for his dedication to God and our community.

Happy New Year!! We want to invite everyone to join us on reading the Bible in a year! This is a chronological plan and takes 20 minutes or less everyday! We hope you join us! Don’t forget guys!! No SHINE or Bible study tonight, join us at the parish wide revival!! Tonight is night 2, night 1 was amazing, hope to see yall there!! Come get your belly’s fed with some yummy food and then get your spirits fed by a good word!

Due to the revival we will not have SHINE or Wednesday night Bible study. We want to encourage everyone to go to the revival. Hope to see you there!! We also will not have SHINE on november 26 for Thanksgiving week. Regular SHINE and Bible study will start back December 3.

Yall come out tonight!

Hey! Y’all don’t forget to come out tonight and enjoy our back to school bash!! 6pm-7:30 pm! We’ll have a Waterslide so make sure to bring those swimsuirs and towels! And we’ll also have some snacks and snowcones! Hope to see you all there!! And again parents are encouraged to stay and fellowship with us!
