Today we say goodbye to Fr. Peter, who is retiring, and Fr. Basant, who is moving to St. Mary's Auburn.

To Fr. Peter: Thank you for your 19 years of service as our Pastor. You have left your mark on not only our parish, but on the hearts of the parishioners. We wish you many blessings in your retirement.

To Fr. Basant: Though it's only been a few years, you will be sincerely missed. Good luck to you in Auburn and in all that you do.

St. John of Rochester will be hosting a blood drive in memory of the Fairport Angels this Thursday, June 18th, from 1pm to 7pm in the Gym.

We are grateful to celebrate a wonderful milestone for our beloved pastor! Please join us in honoring his 50 years of faithful priesthood and upcoming retirement this Sunday, June 7th starting with 11am Mass at St. John of Rochester followed by a reception in the Parish Center. Thank you, Father Peter, for your guidance, compassion, and unwavering service to our parish family.

Father Peter Clifford will celebrate his 50th jubilee and retirement from his pastorate with a June 7 Mass of Thanksgiving at St. John of Rochester in Fairport at 11 a.m., followed by a reception in the parish center. He has served the parish as pastor since 2007.

The SJR Women's Group will be meeting tomorrow, May 21st, at 7:00pm in the Gathering Room. This month we welcome Melissa R. Gernon, SSJ, an art therapist and retreat presenter, who will speak on Visio Divino. Based on Lectio Divina, this program uses art to inspire prayer, journaling, and personal reflection.
