The White Hall Church of Christ is a family of obedient believers in Jesus Christ as the Son of God and Savior of the faithful. To fulfill this vision, we are organized according to Scripture with elders as spiritual shepherds for the congregation, and deacons as ministers for various specific needs of the congregation

Read Psalm 16 with your family, and discuss the following questions.

1. How does calling God your refuge change how you're facing challenges in your life right now?

2. How can you set the Lord always before you as a consistent habit, not just in times of crisis?

3. Notice what God leads us through! He will bring us (body and soul) through life and death to FULL and EVERLASTING pleasure IF He is our safe refuge...IF He is our supreme treasure... IF He is our Sovereign Lord and IF He is our trusted Counselor. (These are conditional promises). Is your life a reflection of those conditions?

4. God wants NO OTHER gods before Him. This fufills Exodus 20:3 and echos the 1st and greatest commandment: "to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul and mind." What does verse 4 indicate shall be multiplied to those who chase after other gods?

5. List the 3 promises of v.11. How does the 1st promise connect with v.10a?

6. The only way we can have any of this hope is because what David says in v.10b "You never allowed Your Holy One to see corruption". JESUS is our resurrection and life! How does that promise encourage you to seek Him more?

Whitehall Church of Christ will be hosting Trail Life Troop WV-4031!

Trail Life USA is a Church-Based, Christ-Centered, Boy-Focused mentoring and discipleship journey that speaks to the heart of a boy. Established on timeless values derived from the Bible and set in the context of outdoor adventure, boys from age 5 to 17 are engaged in a Troop setting by male mentors where they are challenged to grow in character, understand their purpose, serve their community, and develop practical leadership skills to carry out the mission for which they were created.

We're excited to bring Trail Life to Whitehall and will be having our very first meeting on Sunday, 4/6 from 6-7:10pm. 🚨URGENT REQUEST 🚨 Winter Coats Needed! 🧥
As most of you know, Brian Hatfield has been working alongside many others to help the victims of hurricane Helene down in North Carolina. Even though many months have gone by, the devastation was extensive and help is still needed.

Many of those affected are still without basic necessities, and now as winter weather hits hard, coats are desperately needed! One of Brian's contacts will be heading down on Monday, so we are asking for donations of winter coats of all sizes to be brought to the upper fellowship hall of the church building by THIS SUNDAY, January 12th. New and gently used are both accepted! Thank you!
