It is with heavy hearts that we acknowledge the passing of one of our original and faithful members, Deacon Earnest Wicks.
Deacon Wicks was a true servant of God and a pillar of The Potters House Ministries. Whether he was cutting the grass, fixing whatever needed to be repaired around the church, singing faithfully in the Men’s Choir, or simply bringing laughter with his wonderful sense of humor, he always served with a willing heart and a joyful spirit.
His faithfulness, dedication, and love for the ministry will never be forgotten. He was the kind of member every church is blessed to have—always present, always helping, and always willing to do whatever was needed for the Kingdom of God.
During this difficult time, we extend our heartfelt prayers, love, and condolences to Sister Rosemary Wicks and the entire Wicks family. Please know that you are not alone. As your church family, we stand with you and are committed to being there every step of the way. Whatever is needed, we will do our best to support and assist you.
Deacon Earnest Wicks leaves behind a legacy of faithfulness, service, and love that will continue to inspire generations to come.
“Well done, thou good and faithful servant.” – Matthew 25:23
