This Sunday we will celebrate the Conversion of St. Paul, a major festival of the Christian Church. His conversion was considered far more important than the uncertain circumstances of his death. Paul is the author of one third of the New Testament and is named to be an apostle - a title given only to those chosen by the Lord himself. Join us this Sunday 1/18/26 at 10:30 am in the Ballroom of Homestead Village in Fairhope, AL as we commemorate a major event in the life of Jesus, his baptism by John in the river Jordan. This marks the beginning of his "revelation" to the people and the beginning of his public ministry at the age of thirty. The Gospel of Mark has no account of the Nativity but instead points to the fulfillment of Old Testament prophesy in the person of John the Baptist, stressing the divinity of the Messiah.

Bible Study continues each Tuesday at Homestead Village in the Camillia Room at 10:30. We are presently considering the Epistle to the Hebrews, St. Paul's presentation of the truths of the Gospel by means of the Old Testament, the Jewish Bible. Come and discover where the modern church receives so much of what we believe as Christians. Hard questions welcome!
