Redeemer Lutheran Church We are Christians Who Boldly Preach and Teach the Good News of Jesus Christ from the Holy Word of God. It is the pure rule for faith and life.

What We Believe
WE BELIEVE:
The Bible is God’s pure word, without error. So then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17

Every word of God is pure. Proverbs 30.5

Baptism saves us. He that believes and is Baptized shall be saved. Mark 6:16

Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of the Jesus and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:38

There is also an anti type which now saves us—baptism (Not the removal of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 3:21 That Jesus Christ forgives those who confess their sins. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins. He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. John 1: 8-9

That we can know we have eternal life. Through his word and sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion. These are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God,
and that believing that you may have life in his name. John 20:31

Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the spirit,
he cannot enter the kingdom of God. Acts 2:38

Who ever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. John 6:54

That God loves you and wants you to share in the Life He brings us. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in His should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. John 3:16-17

To gather with God's people in united
adoration of the Father is as necessary to the Christian life as prayer.

Based on the ancient Te Deum (3rd/4th century’- St. Ambrose), this hymn joins our congregation’s praise with the worship of angels, apostles, prophets, and martyrs. Before the holiness of the triune God, our pride is humbled and our need for mercy becomes clear. The hymn then directs us to that mercy in Jesus: the eternal Son became man, offered Himself for sinners, conquered death, and opened heaven to believers. We approach God confidently because Christ has reconciled us to Him. As we confess Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, we rejoice that the God whose majesty fills heaven has drawn near to save us.

HYMN OF THE DAY
Twenty-first Sunday after Pentecost (Proper 24A)
Oct. 18, 2026

"Holy God, We Praise Thy Name" (LSB 940)

1. Holy God, we praise Thy name;
Lord of all, we bow before Thee.
All on earth Thy scepter claim,
All in heav’n above adore Thee.
Infinite Thy vast domain,
Everlasting is Thy reign.

2. Hark! The glad celestial hymn
Angel choirs above are raising;
Cherubim and seraphim,
In unceasing chorus praising,
Fill the heav’ns with sweet accord:
Holy, holy, holy Lord!

3. Lo, the apostles’ holy train
Join Thy sacred name to hallow;
Prophets swell the glad refrain,
And the white-robed martyrs follow,
And from morn to set of sun
Through the Church the song goes on.

4. Thou art King of Glory, Christ;
Son of God, yet born of Mary.
For us sinners sacrificed,
As to death a Tributary,
First to break the bars of death,
Thou hast opened heav’n to faith.

5. Holy Father, holy Son,
Holy Spirit, three we name Thee;
Though in essence only one,
Undivided God we claim Thee
And, adoring, bend the knee
While we own the mystery.
