✨✨✨Joyful news! ✨✨✨

We rejoice with great joy!

The Standing Committee and Commission on Ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of the Central Gulf Coast have approved the ordination to the priesthood of our transitional deacons James Holcomb, Ellen Knight Huckabay, and Jessica Sawyer Walker!

We give thanks for their faithful journeys of discernment and formation, and for the many people who have walked alongside them. Please join us in celebrating this joyful step and praying for Jessica, Jimmy, and Ellen as they prepare to answer God’s call to priestly ministry.

Specifics for each ordination service will be announced separately.

Did you know you can play pickleball in the new St. James Commons? We kicked it off last night with our youth, who had a blast! Youth pickleball (grades 6-12) will take place again on August 26 from 4:00 - 5:00 PM. Adults of all skill levels are welcome to join us for open play on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 AM - Noon beginning August 18!
