The Priesthood Charged

Because Joshua was justified, he is now re-established as the High Priest of Israel. But now it is time to get to work! Joshua is called to faithfulness in his personal life and priestly duties. This text is also for us, the new priesthood of God, who are called to faithfulness is our priestly duties of prayer, holy living, and spreading the gospel of grace. The Church as the Royal Priesthood is a life-changing identity marker. Speaker: Wilson Van Hooser Scripture: Zechariah 3:6-8

The Procession

The apostle Paul had some real concerns for the wayward church in Corinth. But as he waited to hear a report on how they were doing, he meditated on Christ’s great calling and promised outcome. It seemingly changed his mind and attitude completely. If we often share in Paul’s anxiety, so should we also share in Paul’s magnificent vision for Christ’s
work through the church’s ministry. Let’s try to find that same encouragement and even a challenge to participate in Christ’s triumphant cause as we look at 2 Corinthians 2:12-17 in a sermon entitled “The Procession.” Speaker: Randy Thompson Scripture: 2 Corinthians 2:12-17

We Need Revival

Biblical revival is a reality that has occurred all across the world throughout 2,000 years of history ever since Pentecost. While Pentecost is an unrepeatable, one-time event, there are some things that occurred at Pentecost which occur again in times of revival. But revival is nothing different than normal Christianity. Revival is normal Christianity but with extraordinary results. While Pentecost once-for-all ushered in the fullness of the New Covenant era, revivals have since occurred to further the spread of the gospel around the world that began at Pentecost. The greatest need today is not another Pentecost (because that can’t happen), but genuine biblical revival. That is the biggest need of our country today. Scripture: Acts 2 Speaker: Wilson Van Hooser
