FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS FOR SR. KATHLEEN DORNEY:
Viewing, funeral, burial, and a luncheon at Mill Plain Diner will take place on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at St. Matthew Church in Norwalk, CT. The viewing will begin at 9:30 a.m., followed by the funeral at 10:00 a.m. If you plan to attend the burial and luncheon, please contact Suzanne Dwan as soon as possible, [email protected] . Sr. Nancy Downing, CND joined children from St. Ann’s Center for Children, Youth and Families in Hyattsville, Maryland, for a little spring cleaning on Earth Day. Sr. Nancy is CEO of St. Ann’s Center, where she continues the CND mission of care, compassion, and service.

100 DAYS OF PRAYER, FASTING, AND ADVOCACY

Blessed Sacrament Province is joining the Leadership Conference of Women Religious (LCWR) in their 100 Days of Prayer, Fasting, and Advocacy on April 17th. The Province Social Justice Committee has asked various Sisters and Associates to record short prayers, words of inspiration, notes of encouragement or calls to action.

A donor’s gift of joy treated the CND Sisters at Executive House to a lovely three-course, stage-side cabaret luncheon at Sacred Heart University’s Edgerton Center for the Performing Arts.
"Nice Work If You Can Get It" took place on April 9th. Before and after the dazzling, Gershwin-inspired performance, the all-student cast spent time with the Sisters, adding a personal touch to an already special day.
It was truly a memorable gift of joy.
