What an absolute masterpiece of a Sunday! ☀️🙌

We are so thankful to God for such a stunning day. With the breeze blowing and the weather being so perfect, it honestly felt custom-planned! 😉

We gathered as one big family on the west lawn, and it was truly special. Huge thanks to Brian for an inspiring message on "Metaphors of the Church"—reminding us how Scripture describes us as the body, family, bride, building, flock, the church and the way (because there's only one way, and it's through Jesus!). 🤍

(And yes, we may have lost a whiteboard or two to the wild rushing wind, but it was 100% worth it! 🌬️😂)

It takes an army to pull off a day like this! Thank you to everyone who helped set up chairs and prep the space. A massive shoutout to Dan and Margie Lintz for coordinating and getting all the delicious pulled pork and chicken ready for us! 🍔🔥

To everyone who brought sides and desserts, and all the helping hands that jumped in to serve—we are so grateful for you! 🥗🧁

From worshiping under the trees to great food, a bounce house, and sweet fellowship, it was a day to remember. Thank you for making our All-Church Service so wonderful!

Sunday, September 6th @ 10:00 AM

We’re combining our services into one big outdoor gathering on the west lawn! Here is everything you need to know:

🪑 BYOC (Bring Your Own Chair!)
Grab your favorite lawn chair. (Don't worry, extras will be available if you forget yours!)

📖 The Word
Brian is sharing a special stand-alone message on the "Metaphors of the Church."

🍔 The Potluck
The church is providing pulled pork & pulled chicken sandwiches for lunch downstairs right after service!

Last Names A–J: Bring a ready-to-serve side dish (hot or cold).
Last Names K–Z: Bring a dessert to share.

(If you don’t have the means to bring anything, please still come! Need help with heavy dishes? We’ll have volunteers ready to run your food down to the gym for you!)

🎈 Family Fun
Stick around after lunch to hang out, catch up, and let the kids burn off some energy in the outdoor bounce house!

Join us this Sunday, September 6th at 10:00 AM for our annual All-Church Service! We are bringing both of our usual services together to worship as one big church family outdoors on the west lawn.

Here are all the details you need to know:

Time & Location: Sunday, September 6th at 10:00 AM on the west lawn.

The Message: Brian will be sharing a special stand-alone message exploring the "Metaphors of the Church."

What to Bring: Bring your own lawn chair (BYOC)! Don’t have one? No worries—we will have extra chairs ready and waiting for you.

Potluck Lunch: Right after the outdoor service, we’ll head downstairs for a massive lunch together!
The Church provides: Pulled pork and pulled chicken sandwiches.

Last Names A–J: Please bring a hot or cold ready-to-serve side dish to share.

Last Names K–Z: Please bring a dessert to share.
(Got heavy food? We’ll have friendly helpers available to run your potluck dishes down to the gym for you!)

🔥 What an incredible night around the campfire!

We had such a fantastic time kicking off our program year with the "Bring-A-Buddy Picnic" last night at Fairfield Church of Christ for our Trail Life USA Troop OH-0414. It was so exciting to introduce several new families to the ministry!

Our older trailmen stepped up and showed off their outdoor cooking skills, treating everyone to some incredible Dutch oven peach cobbler and Dutch oven chocolate chip cookies, plus some awesome custom dessert concoctions made right in the pie irons.

There’s truly nothing quite like fellowship around the fire, talking about all the camping, hiking, and outdoor adventures we have lined up. Trail Life is all about boys (ages 5-17) joining the trail together, learning biblical values, studying God's Word, and walking alongside Godly men to grow into strong, faithful men of character.
