This Matters. We have a lot to be proud of, and the celebration of Pride is just that. It is part of an on going conversation with the world in which we live. Pride remembers our origins, our fights for our lives,
our fights for our jobs, our fights to love, our fights for marriage rights…
to be known as people, and human beings. Pride is also a reminder that we need to draw strength from each other, strength for tomorrow…That we need to draw strength from communities and our history for our future.… for the days ahead.
We’ve come too far to give up who we are.
That’s what pride is about.
