We want to express our deepest gratitude for your prayers and support! They mean so much for us and the entire New Life ministry! In August, our rehab ministry turned 4 years old! We cannot be happier to witness how powerful our mighty Lord has been working in this place! We had the privilege of serving God's people, who were forgotten and abandoned by their families die to their drug and alcohol use. The losses brought by these deadly substances on our nation, families and individuals is devastating. Intervening and dragging as many souls as possible from these deadly forces has been our motivation and heart of of the ministry.

Recently, drug addiction has become a prevalent issue in Georgia. The number of drug and alcohol addicts is growing rapidly. According to the 2019 data, there are 200,000 drug addicts in Georgia, while in 2003 it was 150,000. Georgia ranks 1st in the world in terms of he**in use per 1000 population (17 users per 1000). Also, the risk of diseases such as AIDS and others STD's increases. The number of female addicts has increased as well.

Judging by the numbers, our contribution to this devastating situation in our country is not great. However, we believe every person reaching out to New Life Ministry is sent by God!

It is our honor to say, "We are God's fellow workers," believing that there is great joy in heaven for every person who has come out of the devil's trap and has come to God.

We recently were able to help one of our successful residents find stable employment at a construction company. This year there has been three of them who were able to find employment at the construction company after successful completion of the program. We continue staying in touch with them and support them spiritually and morally.

We are constantly working with homeless people in the streets who are having a hard time making a decision to start our program. Our alumni are actively helping us in this task. It is a tremendous joy to watch our alumni witnessing to the homeless people about Jesus and how He rescued them from the deadly disease.

Please keep us and our needs in your prayers.

- Spiritual and physical protection of our residents from the pandemic and spiritual attacks against their recovery.

- More homeless people to make the life time decision to come to the center and receive healing

- New recovery coach who will be living in the center

- Financial needs for the center ($2,000 for purchasing food supplies for winter and $3,000 for an electric cable for the center)

- Strength and protection for our alumni.

Happy Birthday to dear Pastor Zurab Asatiani! So very grateful for this man of God and all God does through him! He is faithful and extremely hard working servant of Christ. Thank you for all you are doing for New Life ministry and the Kingdom! May the Lord bless you with many more healthy years for His ministries! Love you dearly!

We continue counting our blessings! Please meet our Alumni Sasha I. He came to our center at the beginning of October 2018. He was homeless, broken, hopeless and desperate. His family disowned him and completely lost trust as his drinking became uncontrollable. Sasha is in the picture next to the pastor Zura in black and white shirt. Sasha was hurting physically and spiritually. The Lord found him and brought him to the right place, where his wounds were taken care of with compassion, understanding and brotherly love. He met his Savior and trusted his life to the only True King who gave him healing, peace and true renewal of his life. On February 4, 2019 Sasha successfully graduated from New Life Rehab Center and joined his family. (He is in the blue jean jacket on his discharge picture). He maintains his sobriety. We are very proud of him and rejoice in the new life of our dear brother in Christ!

New Life Rehab Center is a non profit Recovery Center. We heavily rely on sponsors and donors who gracefully support our ministry. "Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!" Psalm 34:8. For many years these men trusted countless things in their lives that caused nothing but hurt, pain and loss. They know what it means to hit rock bottom and be soul broken. My heart rejoices for them, because the Lord heard their desperate cry for help and He wiped their tears. They are tasting the goodness of the Lord at the New Life Rehab Center! Dear friends, Please lift up the prayer of praise for these men as the heavens rejoice for their new citizenship. Please continue praying for their spiritual growth and strength! At the center we are serving 7 men at this moment. They all are coming from deep brokeness and despair. At the New Life they found hope and salvation from the Lord Jesus! May His name be glorified always and forever, as He is so good!

Happy New Year dear family and friends! May the Lord fill your hearts and lives with His grace, peace and countless blessings! A couple days ago Jason asked me what was the best moment of the year of 2019. A lot of great things came with 2019 but the highlight of all was definitely a trip to Georgia where we witnessed so many wonderful works of our mighty Lord! It was absolutely humbling and so uplifting to visit the New Life rehab center and minister with the best team ever! God is in work for sure and I am so very grateful for every single person involved in this ministry, supporting it and getting new life through it. Each of you are dear to me and I praise the Lord for you all! May the year 2020 bring more blessings, good health and peace to you and your loved ones! Happy New Year dear ones! 💝🎊

Merry Christmas from God’s special people in New Life Rehab Center in the country of Georgia! What a great end of a great year at the center! In November we hosted dear friends from Germany who sent us 2 staff members and 4 residents to help with the harvesting of the mandarins. They also helped with the construction work we started this summer. We are beyond blessed to have our friends who shared so graciously their experience, support, knowledge, love and gifts with us! God’s presence in this place is absolutely vivid and overwhelming!

Please continue praying for our rehab center, new residents and staff, their recovery process and growing relationship with the Lord. Please pray for the financial support to complete the renovation work on the first floor. Your prayers and support are the best blessings for us! At New Life Rehab Center in Georgia we are celebrating Fall with welcoming 3 new residents! Please keep them in your prayers. They are coming from very rough experiences of trauma and addiction. Please pray that they accept the Lord and He heals their wounded hearts and gives them smooth recovery and peaceful new life!

We want to give special thanks to Barry and Carolyn Corder for their very gracious gift, which allowed us to start so needed renovation project in the downstairs kitchen and bedroom for our residents! Thank you for your faithfulness, and care! It means so much for the ministry and each of us!

Dear Friends and Family,

Our family had a wonderful and fulfilling mission trip to the Republic of Georgia and we would like to send you a summary of what happened there. Jason, Gabriel, and I returned a week ago and have finally gotten over our jet lag.

The first part of our mission trip was focused on the village of Frezeti which is about a 30 minute drive west of the capitol of Tbilisi. The refugees that live here were forced to leave their homes and land when Russians invaded the region of Ossetia in northern Georgia. Frezeti is located on a high mountain pass which is usually windy and exposed to cold temperatures in the winter. Local missionaries, which we are friends with, have been visiting these refugees for a couple years. For 3 days our team of 4 served and loved on them primarily by providing counseling and how to cope with the complex trauma and grief that they have been through. The first day we listened to their heart-breaking stories of what happened in 2008 during the war. Ana was able to easily connect with the refugees because of her own experience of being a refugee from the Russian-Georgia war in 1992-1993. The second day we conducted educational groups on trauma, it's impacts and coping. The third day we focused on grief and loss. Our main goal was to help people see God's mighty hand through their trials and tribulations and encourage them to trust Him and glorify His name.

The second part of the trip was at the New Life Rehabilitation Center in the Kobuleti region on the west coast of Georgia. This is about a 5 hour train ride from the capitol of Tbilisi. Ana's uncle Zura is a pastor here and leads the New Life center. For 3 days we provided counseling to drug and alcohol addicts. The first day we provided group sessions on understanding the addiction from the trauma perspective. The residents were open to share about their painful childhood, abandonment, multiple abuses and deprivation from love and affection. All these guys lost their families and loved ones due to their addiction and criminal background. The second day we talked about how addiction impacted their lives, what substances they chose as unhelpful coping and numbing mechanisms, and how their unhealthy coping disconnected them from their creator. The third day we worked on stages of change, forgiveness and reconnection to the Creator and our Heavenly Father. The third day was especially emotional as we concluded with mother's forgiveness and a blessing prayer and individual prayers with the residents. The power of the Holy Spirit was so vivid and so moving! During our time there we had had some missionary friends of ours, David and Loretta Stembridge, help to create a video about the rehab center. When this video is done it will be a great way to share and bring awareness about the rehab center and the great work that is being done there.
