Join us on Friday, June 12, as we celebrate the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus at Saint Leo! ❤️

Spend time with Our Lord through all-day Adoration, a bilingual Mass, Confessions, a Holy Hour, and Benediction with Consecration to the Sacred Heart. Then keep the celebration going on Saturday at the Diocesan Festival, bus transportation is available for those who would like to attend together. All are welcome!

Yesterday, our parish family took Jesus into the heart of our community during our Corpus Christi Procession. Beginning in the church and prayerfully walking through the streets of Fairfax City, we publicly witnessed to our belief in the Real Presence of Christ in the Holy Eucharist.

As Jesus reminds us in John 6:51: “I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world.”

Thank you to everyone who joined us in this beautiful expression of faith. May the Lord continue to bless our parish, city of Fairfax, and all who encountered Him along the way.

Congratulations to our graduating 8th graders who were honored with scholarships from the Knights of Columbus Father Diamond Council! 🎓

Through their generosity and commitment to supporting Catholic education, the Knights awarded $4,000 in scholarships to deserving Saint Leo the Great Catholic School graduates.

The scholarships presented included:
• Past Grand Knight Gerald C. Broyles Scholarship – $1,000
• Corporal Nicholas C. Kirvin Scholarship – $1,000
• Father Diamond Council Scholarship – $2,000

These scholarships recognize students for their academic achievement, leadership in school activities, and service to both the Church and the community.

We are grateful to the Knights of Columbus for their continued investment in our students and for the many ways they support our parish and school throughout the year. Congratulations to this year’s scholarship recipients, and thank you to the Knights for helping our graduates continue their educational journey! ✨💙💛
