POP Campus Fellowship Nova We are the college student outreach of the People of Praise Christian Community in northern Virginia.

We are charismatic, ecumenical, and focused on building the kingdom of God in and around college campuses.

1 John 4:18 says, "...perfect love drives out fear." Claire shared a similar word at our prayer meeting two weeks ago: "We often operate out of fear. Instead we should try to operate out of love. Don’t let fear decide how we do things."

At our prayer meeting on Friday, Therese McNichol shared this word: "Stand firmly by one another, supporting and encouraging one another. Be vulnerable with each other. People will see it and be drawn to it like a magnet. Stand firmly side by side."
It brings to mind Philippians 1:27, which says, "... let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ... standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel."
