29th September Feast of Archangels St Michael, St Raphael and St Gabriel
St Michael for the protection against the forces of evil
St Gabriel for the guidance in understanding God's will
St Raphael for healing in both physical and spiritual.
~ Prayer ~
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle; be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do thou, O prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who roam about the world, seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
O blessed Archangel Gabriel, we beseech thee, do thou intercede for us at the throne of divine mercy in our present necessities, that as thou didst announce to Mary the mystery of the Incarnation, so through thy prayers and patronage in heaven we may obtain the benefits of the same, and sing the praise of God forever in the land of the living. Amen.
Blessed Saint Raphael, Archangel, we beseech you to help us in all our needs and trials of this life. We humbly seek your aid and intercession, that our souls may be healed, our bodies protected from all ills, and guide our steps when doubtful of our ways. Amen.
