What a wonderful day of connection, learning, and fellowship

A heartfelt THANK YOU to the entire Oak Street Health care team for opening your doors and giving Happy Day Ministry such a warm and welcoming experience. We truly appreciated the opportunity to tour the facility, meet the care team, learn what to expect when receiving care, ask questions, and receive helpful answers.

A special thank you to Angelisa Ryder, our Community Relationship Manager, for helping make this outreach experience informative, engaging, and enjoyable!

Today, our Young Adults reminded us what happens when we create space to be real, be heard, and be loved.

Kim Knox brought a powerful and timely conversation on mental health—reminding us that caring for our minds and spirits is part of caring for the whole person. No pretending. No judgment. Just honest conversation and encouragement.

And then we did what community does best… we gathered around the table. 🍽️

Good food.
Good conversation.
Laughter.
Sharing.
Connection.

Because church isn’t just about showing up for worship—it’s about finding people who will walk with you after the amen.
