Mark Rickert and his children, along with his father in-law Jim Osborne welcome you to celebrate the life of their wife, mother and Daughter.
Julie was one of kind. She was quiet, gentle and meek. The Bible says that as followers of Christ we are called to walk in humility and gentleness in everyday life. True meekness is not weakness but strength under God’s control. This was Julie. Although she was quiet, she displayed a remarkable strength to the very end. She embraced life with a smile on her face and was full of joy and grace. She rarely spoke an unkind word. Her conversations were always uplifting and never negative or demeaning. Julie loved her children and would always speak proudly of them in conversations. You may have seen Mark, Julie and Jim dining at a nearby restaurant on any given day. Her dad and her best friend, together sharing their Julie.
She will be greatly missed here at City Church. She was a faithful member of the Ladies Book club, her tightest circle; those ladies are her besties! They experienced a bond with Julie that she held to the highest regard. She was often a participant of our City Church Ladies events as well; Julie loved sharing in our laughter and fellowship. Whenever there was a church need that Julie could fulfill, she answered the call. Giving to the Christmas Angel Tree, Helping in The Blessing Closet, Serving wherever she could, that was Julie. And never, with a harsh word, but always with a gentle spirit of kindness and grace.
Trust that Julie just changed her address. Heaven gained our angel! She was already an angel here on Earth.
