🌅Clean Up Day | May 2026

Members of The Light of the World Church in Fairbanks had the joy of taking part in the annual community event, “Golden Heart Clean Up Day,” where people from across the community come together after the long winter season to help clean streets and public areas throughout the Interior of Alaska.

With willingness and enthusiasm, brethren of all ages joined this effort, showing love for their community by dedicating their time and effort to do their part and contribute positively to the city around them.

“We are beings of LIGHT, because our Father is the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation, or shadow of turning. HE is a light that illuminates the world, and you are the perfect reflection of HIS light. You are a being which carries the light, delivering it to the whole world. Your steps are light! Your life is light! Your testimony is light!”

Youth Activity | 📍Fairbanks, Alaska

“Then I had a thought: how sad that the world lives deceived about us when it says, ‘The brethren of The Light of the World cannot have fun, and they do not know how to enjoy the world.’ In response to that statement, I told the brethren: ‘How different our reality is! If anyone enjoys this world, it is us. We enjoy the sea, the countryside, the forests, the jungles, the beautiful lakes, and all of Creation that God made for us. Of course we enjoy it!’”
— Apostle of Jesus Christ, Naasón Joaquín García

A Day of Evangelization | Fairbanks, Alaska

“How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!””
‭‭Romans‬ ‭10‬:‭14‬-‭15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Missionaries, whom I have named my Spiritual Battalions, and my local spiritual laborers. They are the wings the Lord gave me to extend over the earth. They are young people with strong souls, tempered in prayer; hearts that beat to the rhythm of grace; hands that work for the Gospel; voices that proclaim.” Naasón Joaquín García, Apostolic Letter (Dec 31, 2025)

Holiday Season | December 2025

This past week, members of the Light of the World Church Fairbanks gathered to prepare and deliver a small gesture of gifts to the Alaska Center For Non-Violent Living as a demonstration of support and care for those in need during this Holiday season.

We are grateful for the opportunity to remember others through action, offering a small gesture of care, alongside prayer, for those who need encouragement and hope.

“Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. To the one we are the aroma of death leading to death, and to the other the aroma of life leading to life….
