Times are different now is what the person said. This is true. Every generation comes and goes and there is a newness or uniqueness to each one of them. But since the beginning one thing remains, if we are to be truly happy and enjoy this life we need to learn to love. Love God, love our neighbor, love those we disagree with, love ourselves, love our enemies, love the stranger. The cross is the symbol of the greatest love of all. Gods love for you and me, all the world and its people. God thank you for the chance to love. Thank you for your great love. Guide our steps and our hearts and our minds so that we may love like never before and with all of our being. Let the world see the cross for its wonderful glory and may we seek the life of Jesus to show those you place before us. Amen.

Just like the temperature and weather, our lives can change overnight as well. The weather and temperatures change all the time. But for us the one constant and amazing factor in our lives is that God doesn’t change. God has loved you from the beginning and will love you till the end. No matter what season of life you are in, God is in that season with you, just look for him. The weather can change, we can change but thankfully God doesn’t change. Thank you lord for loving us no matter what. Guide us today to be living examples of your son. May your love be felt, seen and heard through us today. Amen.

What will today look like? What should we do? You and me, we are children of God. Created in the image of God,May we remember this and in this we have infinite love and grace. So spend some time sharing this wealth of love, mercy, compassion, grace and forgiveness with others. And smile God loves you and so do I. Have a glorious Thursday my brothers and sisters . God may we reflect your love and grace in all we do and say today so others may see you in us. Amen.

Seeing the task before us. Watching the news or reading the paper can take us away from the task before us because we don’t see a lot of good in the media. It can be overwhelming. Jesus knew the task before him. He took the criticism, the hate, the anger, and he still headed to the cross. He sat at the table and broke bread with his betrayer. He asked that the cup be removed but more importantly God’s will be done. Maybe just maybe we could follow in those examples a little more and maybe the world would begin to see Jesus more. Loving creator and gracious God help us to see the task before us and to stay the course, guide us to remain in your will and in your ways so your great love may be magnified for the world to see. Strengthen us to stay at the table so that we may continue to head to the cross being a living example of your Son in today’s world. Amen.

Sometimes life hits you hard and sometimes life makes you feel like a movie star. The two things in life are how you perceive it and how you handle it. There is one constant and that is God. He was constant throughout scripture from the beginning to the end he desires a relationship with us and is always there full of love and grace. Lord almighty help us to see you in all things. Help us to remain in constant contact with you through the Holy Spirit and Jesus Christ. Give us hearts of forgiveness grace and love. Help us see life as the gift it is. Amen.

Brought to you by the cross, today I hope we love but not Just the, “I love this day type or I love watching this show type of love. “ But the I would be willing to lay my life down for you love, the you are my child and I created you and called you very good love , Gods love. Loving God thank you for your great love for us. Help us to recognize this love and then to share it with everyone we can. Strengthen us God to pick up our crosses and to serve you and all your children with a love so great that it can only be from you. Amen

Judgement? Jesus said, “ you who are without sin may cast the first stone. “ yes there will be a day of judgement but not by us but by our loving creator. Here is a crazy thought, won’t it be amazing if we learned and I do believe God’s grace is greater than God’s judgement. Our job is to lift others up not tear them down, to love them not judge them. Lord of Lord’s and creator of life guide us in our hearts and minds so that we we love first forgive second and trust you in all things in all ways at all times. Let your love and grace shine through us. Amen

Life is precious! Life is short! Tomorrow is not promised! If we knew our timelines would we live our lives differently? You bet we would. The crazy thing is as followers of Christ we kinda do know our timeline. We may not know our earthly timeline, but we know that we have life eternal and that life eternal starts Now!!!!! If we begin living into who God created us to be and placing our lives and our hope in Jesus then we are living into the kingdom. Glorious God thank you for all your wonderful blessings and the gift of life and love. Help us to live into our faith and to begin to experience life eternal now. Guide us and direct us in our paths so the world and those who you place before us recognize and see Jesus Christ in and through us. Help us to live lives of love, hope,compassion, forgiveness, and joy for your glory and our salvation. Amen.

Amazing God we give you thanks for all your wonderful blessings and we ask for your forgiveness and compassion for us all. Guide us to be who you created us to be this day and the days to come. Fill us with your Holy Spirit and empower us to be your wonderful children and to love and serve others as our continual acts of worship to you. Lord, our creator and our hope now and forever. Shape us O God unto wonderful purveyors of love and grace for all the world and all people. Amen.
