This Sunday, we were reminded from Mark 5:21–42 that even in moments of urgency, Jesus moves at a different pace. While everyone around Him is frantic, panicked, and overwhelmed by urgency, Jesus remains steady...present, calm, and full of compassion.
Even when the situation feels like it’s slipping into chaos, He doesn’t rush. He doesn’t react in fear. Instead, He stays attentive to what matters most and responds with peace and authority.
He shows us a different way to live...not rushed, not anxious, but grounded in trust and aligned with God’s timing.
So the question still sits with us this week:
Are we moving at the pace of Jesus, or the pace of the world around us?
Reflection: What is one practical way you can slow your soul down this week and make space to be present with God and others?
