Nepton Community Church We're a little church shining the light of Christ and sharing God's love with the Community. We're welcoming to all and very family oriented.

The Methodists Episcopal Church, South, in Nepton KY, was erected in the year of our Lord, 1882. Now Nepton Community Church, we are a small congregation with a bright light to shine in the name of Jesus. We offer Sunday school classes for all ages, a traditional yet relaxed worship service with no dress code. We are committed to offering the community a time and space set apart to worship the Lo

rd in spirit and in truth with regular music nights and revivals. We draw from the history of our beautiful old church, but we are not a building. We are family bound by the love of Jesus Christ and desperately want you to know that love for yourself. Come and join us and see what Jesus is all about. Sunday School 10AM

Come and join us tonight as we continue our study of Christ and Him Crucified: The Life-Giving Power of the Cross, concluding Part 1, The Cross as God's Love Revealed, with our third message, "Herein Is Love."

In 1 John 4:10, the Apostle John gives us one of the clearest definitions of love found anywhere in Scripture:

"Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins."

What is love? How has God revealed His love to humanity? What did Christ accomplish on the cross? What does it mean that Jesus became the propitiation for our sins?

Join us as we look deeply into the heart of the gospel and discover that the cross does not merely display God's love—it defines it.

This Sunday, we will continue our sermon series, Walking in the Light: A Journey Through 1 John, with a message entitled "Living in the Light" from 1 John 1:5–10.

In a world filled with confusion, uncertainty, and darkness, God still calls His people to walk in His truth, His holiness, and His marvelous light. There is hope, peace, forgiveness, and fellowship to be found in His presence. The closer we draw to Him, the more clearly we see the path before us.

I want to encourage you to take advantage of the opportunity God has given us. Come and experience the joy of worship, the encouragement of Christian fellowship, and the light of God's Word.
