Dear Fellow Parishioners,

There is an E-mail purported to be from our pastor. It is not. Do not respond to the E-mail. If you receive this E-mail, please delete.

There are four characteristics in the E-mail that are tell-tale signs it is a phishing expedition that could cause you harm. The signs are: (1) the E-mail address is not an ISJ address; (2) the style of the writing is disjointed; (3) the grammar structure is weak, and (4) it is uses the incorrect church name.

It is not the policy of ISJ to reach out to individuals in an E-mail asking "You got a moment I have an errands that I need you to handle confidentially,...."
