The IL Camp Board voted, regretfully, to cancel the 5 weeks of camps scheduled for June and July due to IDPH suggestions. They may consider some camps or retreats later in the summer if health concerns are relaxed.

CAMP HOPE CO-VID 19 STATEMENT
Recently our camp board met to discuss the possibility of having camps, in some form, this summer. As of this time, 05/05/20, no final decisions have been made. We understand there are many concerns surrounding large group gatherings at this time but our heart in this process is to be as patient as we can before making decisions. Our plan is to wait until June to make an informed decision about possibly having some form of camp in July. As more reliable information becomes available, as it relates to opening up the state of Illinois in July, we will then determine what options to consider. The camp board will continue to monitor the situation and will provide an updated statement when we have clear next steps from the State. It is our desire to do what is in the best interest of our families and churches, in partnership with local, state and federal recommendations. We ask for your patience in this process and that you pray along with us for wisdom to make good decisions.
