St. Erasmus — also called St. Elmo — shows us that courage and faith shine brightest in the storm. ⛵✝️
A bishop who endured brutal torture and relentless persecution, Erasmus never renounced Christ. His steadfastness under fire and the miraculous sign of St. Elmo’s Fire over the seas made him the patron of sailors and a lasting witness to the Church.
Today, his life calls us to remain steadfast through our trials — trusting the Lord to guide, protect, and sustain us no matter the storm.
