On Saturday, October 3rd, from 10-3, Evergreen Lutheran Church will host a Quilts and Stitches Show at ELC in the Fellowship Hall. There is no admission fee.
We have the brand-new quilts that our Piecemakers’ Group has been making, but along with these, we are asking for donations of quilts that perhaps have been a blessing to you and will be a blessing to others.
Please consider going through your boxes, closets, etc. to see if you would like to donate any of the quilts that you may have.
Right now, we even have quilts with a provenance. These are documented quilts. We want vintage quilts, new quilts, family quilts that have comforted and still have some comforting in them that others will cherish.
We will also be offering hand–made shawls, small and larger size bags that are perfect for carrying passports, phones, and you name it.
All proceeds will go to benefit our operating budget. Please consider coming to the sale to benefit our church, have lunch, share stories with each other and enjoy our community.
