It is with a heavy heart that I write this post.

As many of you know, Brother David Trimbur and Mrs. June have not been in the best of health for sometime. Brother David has formally announced that he is retiring and this Sunday, September 25, 2022, will be his last church service at Bayou Rouge Baptist Church in Evergreen.

Their service to the community and numerous others will not be forgotten. Their presence will be sorely missed. I pray for their health and happiness in the future and thank God for the gift they have been. We were so blessed to have had dedicated Christian leaders who truly had the purest of heart intentions in their service to the Lord.

Update on Brother David... He is better and both he and Mrs. June will continue to need prayers as they struggle to recoup from their illnesses.

Please pray for our pastor who is in the hospital with congestive heart failure. He will have a heart cath on Monday to determine blockage. If there is blockage then they will take care of it with a stent. We will have a guest for services on Sunday. Please remember Brother David and Mrs. June. They have been very ill over the last two months.
