Jesus walked into the grave and told Lazarus to come forth.

Grief, pain, and misery do not get the final word.

Glory gets the final word.

Jesus waited a few days after Lazarus had died to come to his sister's Mary and Martha.

You have to wait on the Lord!

Sometimes the delay is a part of the process.

God's no is not always God's rejection. Sometimes, it's redirection.

Know that God is working in your favor. We don't know what is coming down the road. God knows.

Faith says, He may not come when you want Him, but He's always right on time.

What matters is where you turn when troubles come.

Turn to King Jesus. He never lets you down.

All of my help comes from the Lord.

With a raised voice in spirit, say Father I stretch my hands to thee. No other help I know.

Mary and Martha believed in Jesus.
Faith doesn't block the storm. Faith anchors us in the storm.

Psalm 34:19
Many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers them out of them all.

Mary's expression of faith in the midst of grief reminds us that deep faith and deep sorrow can come from the same heart.

There are times we forget about all the times God has brought us through. What about the sweet things he has brought us through! What about the things he's doing for you right now.

Look at the whole picture.

Mary, the sister of Lazarus, sat at his feet, and her heart was broken. Her brother was dead. Her world was shaken. When Jesus arrived, she said, "Lord if you had been here, our brother wouldn't have died." She didn't speak in anger; she spoke in reverence.

God stood with her in her mourning.

Faith is Not a Ticket to a Trouble-free Life

God, if you love me so much, Why are you allowing me to go through so much? All of us devoted believers have said that at some point.

I want you to know that you are still going to face disappointing times, being good people does not mean you'll never cry or suffer or be confused. You can pray all day and still be given a diagnosis that you didn't expect. You can still have a child who you have to keep on the altar.

Faith is what holds us up when everything else is falling apart. Faith tells you to hold on.

Mary grieved at the feet of Jesus, but she still fell down and worshipped God.

The ungodly will not stand in judgement nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

We can't put people in heaven or hell but the Word of God does.

God is trying to tell Nicodemus to stop playing games.

Jesus walked with the ungodly. He can do that because He is the Son of man.

Keep your eyes on the Lord.
Be wise and not foolish.
