..HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Heat index values up to around 108 expected.

* WHERE...Clarke, Wilcox, Monroe, Conecuh and Covington Counties.

* WHEN...From 11 AM this morning to 7 PM CDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
illnesses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out
of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Young
children and pets should never be left unattended in vehicles
under any circumstances.

Take extra precautions if you work or spend time outside. When
possible reschedule strenuous activities to early morning or
evening. Know the signs and symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat
stroke. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing when
possible. To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational
Safety and Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent
rest breaks in shaded or air conditioned environments. Anyone
overcome by heat should be moved to a cool and shaded location.
Heat stroke is an emergency! Call 9 1 1.

Family and friends far and near, please pause for a moment to help me celebrate this handsome dude, my husband and friend on his birthday today! God is so good! Even though he just spent seven days in the hospital and still receiving home IV therapy, through it all, he still praising God for His goodness. And thanking family and friends for the many prayers, calls, and love shown. Especially thanks to New Hope Amezchurch, Mrs. Valerie Parker Straughn and Mrs. Linda Ann Coleman for cooking and delivering enough food to last for several meals.( OMG this blue berry cheesecake ❤️)! Also thanks to Mrs. Angela Parker Pressley and husband Mr. Terry, Sophia Dukes, Mrs. Jenelle Riley, all the members of Mt Zion Evergreen, Mrs. Jackie R. Lee, the pastors and members of the Brewton District, (please forgive me if I omitted someone) but thanks to all of you for your continued prayers and support. May God bless you all ❤️🙏🏾❤️

What a great Annual Conference!
Praise the Lord for blessing the 112th Session of the South Alabama Annual Conference with His presence. Thanks NewHope Amezchurch choir for showing up Thursday night and showing out! Thanks Brewton District Ministers for your generous donation after the Presiding Elder’s Report. Thanks to the ministers for electing me as a delegate to the General Conference once again! Thanks Bishop George D. Crenshaw for reappointing me to Mt Zion Evergreen and New Hope Churches, as well as trusting me to serve as the Presiding Elder of the Brewton District for the sixth year! To God be the glory and honor. Thanks my beloved husband Mr. Bob McCaskill for hanging out with me through it all!
