Pastor Travis Miller reminds us that as Christians we need to see the value and purpose of God's Kingdom, "beyond the beans". I'm thankful for the USA.

I'm grateful that we enjoy a variety of freedoms not known in many countries.

And while we associate freedom with independence, they are not the same. Being free to decide and act doesn't guarantee that we do so.

Unfettered independence doesn't work well with surrendered Christianity.

I declare today the I am DESPERATELY DEPENDENT on the Lord Jesus Christ!!
