Sundays @ 10:00 a.m. Zion Lutheran Church is located north of Everest, Kansas.

It was founded on February 4, 1895 by a group of Norwegian immigrants. In 1921 the church was struck by lightening and destroyed. The current building was built after the fire and was dedicated in 1922. This building was enlarged and rededicated in 1962. In 1988 Zion merged with the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America and was part of the Central States Synod. Zion is currently partnered with the North America Lutheran Church (NALC).
