Morning Meditation:
Ecclesiastes 9:12

For man also knoweth not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare; so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them.

Inspiration

A fish does not know the end is near when it becomes tangled in a net. When we rely on ourselves for decision-making, we are like fish unknowingly caught in the snare of a sinful lifestyle. We cannot depend on our wisdom to evade the snare of sin. We must continue to seek the Lord for knowledge, strength, and faith to avoid dangerous traps. He loves us unconditionally and is always available when we call upon Him.

Prayer

Dear Father, We are quickly and unknowingly trapped by sin! We seek Your wisdom, guidance and strength as we maneuver sinful obstacles throughout our earthly lives.

In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen. πŸ™πŸΎ

Evening Meditation:
Acts 20:28

Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

Inspiration

Paul instructs early church leaders to sustain themselves and their flock. Our teachers have been called by the Holy Spirit to educate us about our commitment to God. They are commissioned to nurture our spiritual growth. We must encourage our teachers to also take time for themselves so they may be renewed and strengthened by the Spirit as well. Our leaders are special gifts, and we will lift them up with prayer and reassuring conversation.

Prayer

Dear Lord, we are thankful for our teachers and will continue to lift them up in prayer and encouragement.

Job 26:7

He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing.

Inspiration

The earth was without form; empty, and void when God initiated creation. From nothing, He created something. He breathed to life all the beauty around us. We have a limited understanding of how this happened; we only know God is all-powerful, and with Him, everything is possible. Job had multiple hardships all at once. Although he was overwhelmed, He knew God had the power to provide refuge and strength. We revere the power of God and remain hopeful in His plan for our lives.

Prayer

Dear Lord, we respect Your power and remain hopeful in Your plans for our life. Thank you for lifting our spirits when we face multiple hardships at once. In Jesus’ Name, Amen. πŸ™πŸΎ

1 Corinthians 15:3-5

For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:

Inspiration

We must remain faithful to the simple requirement that God gave us and that is to believe that Jesus Christ is His Son, who came to earth in the form of man, fulfilled the law, died for our sins, and resurrected three days after His death. We are to believe that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior. After believing, we are to preach this message with all our heart, so that others can believe, too.

Prayer

Dear God, I ask that You will help me remain faithful to this cause. Lord, I desire to live totally for the name of Jesus and nothing else. May I be an effectual part of Your plan for the rest of Your children, Lord. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen. πŸ™πŸΎ

TODAY'S WORD

"Then my soul will rejoice in the Lord and delight in His salvation. My whole being will exclaim, 'Who is like You, O Lord'?"
(Psalm 35:9-10)

The splendor of all people fades in comparison with the mighty deeds of God. Thank You God for saving us and allowing us to put our trust and hope in You.
