Bethel UCC is and has been an active church in the Evansville community for over one hundred years. In 1904, a church was formed and became Bethel Evangelical Church. It was located at the corner of Garvin Street and Jefferson Avenue. The United Church of Christ was born when the Evangelical and Reformed Church united with the Congregational Christian Church in 1957. Bethel United Church of Christ

moved to its current location at 3029 N. Green River Road in 1981. We are proud of our rich history and traditions, but continue to explore new ways to worship and serve God as we look to the future. ❄️Due to the weather outlook for this Sunday, the Annual Congregational Meeting at Bethel UCC will be moved one week to February 1st.

Please keep an eye out. We will send out a notification by 8 AM Sunday if the 10:15 AM Worship Service will be canceled as well.
