The first Sunday of May is International Bereaved Mother’s Day. We are holding all mothers of loss not only in our community but around the globe close to our hearts today.

We honor you and your strength to keep going through the pain of losing your child. We encourage you today, reminding you of the steadfast love of heaven and the Lord.

“For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38-39

We had such a beautiful day celebrating our mamas & having fellowship together. 🌸🫖🤍

It is such an honor to serve the women in our community and point them back to the source of their strength; our Lord & savior, Jesus Christ!🙌🏼

We here at SOAR & Rhythm church are holding those grieving this Christmas close to our hearts. We are praying that the comfort of the Lord surrounds you in the coming days and you feel His mighty love for you and your precious children.

Psalms 34:18-19
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and He saves those whose spirits have been crushed.”

The holidays can be really difficult.
I have definitely been struggling myself these last few weeks in missing my son Isaiah.

I am praying so hard for all those grieving. I wanted to remind my sisters, that the Lord made this pain temporary. We have an eternity awaiting us with our children.

Hold on mama, you are not alone 🕊️

This Friday’s meeting will be in person but will also be live streamed here on our page! We know the holiday weekend can make it difficult for some of you to attend in person. We of course would love to have you in person and encourage that, but the live stream will be an option as well!

See you Friday! 🤎🪽

Simeon then turning back to Mary, he gently cupped her head and said tearfully “and a sword will pierce through your own soul also.” (Luke 2:35)

As the holidays approach, I can’t help but hold Mary close to my heart. Mary, the chosen mother of the Messiah was a bereaved mother herself. Many may not realize the depth of pain she was trusted with by God Himself. See, Jesus was also Mary’s baby… her baby boy. She too had to witness her son, her baby boy suffer. This Christmas I hope you can feel the depth of heavens love for you & your child. Knowing that there are women and mothers in heaven with them, with the Father. They are in the very best hands.

A reminder today… this life is not the end. It’s a sliver compared to the eternity that we will have with the ones we miss most.

I know that doesn’t lessen the pain you may be feeling in the present. But, it does give hope. A hope that this pain IS temporary.

Thank you, Jesus… for giving your life so that I can grieve with the knowing that there is an end date to all sorrow.
